Messages & Snippets
- AI-generated messages and your message history
- Saved snippets and templates you create
Subscription & Usage Data
- Subscription status and billing information (processed by Apple/Google)
- Message generation usage counts
Device & Notification Data
- Push notification tokens (used to deliver reminders)
- Platform and OS version (collected with optional app feedback)
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide and improve TextTwinAI's features:
- Generating personalized messages using AI
- Sending push notification reminders on your schedule
- Managing your account and subscription
- Responding to support requests
Third-Party Services
We share limited data with the following third-party services:
AI Message Generation (OpenRouter / OpenAI)
- Recipient name, relationship type, notes, and snippets are sent to generate messages
- Phone numbers are never sent to AI providers
Push Notifications (Expo)
- Push notification tokens are shared with Expo to deliver reminders to your device
In-App Purchases (Apple / Google)
- Subscription billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- We do not store your payment information
What We Don't Do
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools
- We do not serve advertisements
- We do not collect location data
- We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes
Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- All communication uses HTTPS encryption
- Phone numbers are encrypted at rest in our database
- Authentication is handled via secure token-based sessions (Laravel Sanctum)
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed, including your profile, recipients, messages, snippets, schedules, and notification tokens.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app, or by emailing support@texttwinai.com. For more details, see our Account Removal page.
Children's Privacy
TextTwinAI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of TextTwinAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
